Bitten.

I've been bitten.

No, not by a mosquito. As of yesterday, it is officially fall here in Bloomington, and all the pesky mosquitoes are gone. I am also not referring to my "mosquito bites" (as my college roommate so thoughtfully referred to my less-than-impressive chest area).

And no, I haven't been bitten by Saya again (thank the lord).

I've been bitten by a teeny tiny little urge. The tiniest inkling of an urge...for baby #2.

I know, I know. Just a week ago I was at my wit's end! What could I be thinking?! But right now I'm feeling it. Not that it's something I think I could do right now, but something I can start considering for next year.

Saya is just starting to reach an age that I enjoy more than ever. Her personality is just so full of sunshine, she is sleeping better through the night, and I feel like she understands me. I love nothing more than pinching her chubby little cheeks. Her most recent little habit? Waking up with a huge smile, and running to give me a hug and kiss. It's the best.

OK, OK, I know I'm romanticizing. But I think it's natural to start feeling this way about now...lots of babies are about two years apart! It's not like I want to get pregnant right this second, but for the first time ever...I can actually consider thinking about it. Something that I found impossible until this point.

I talked with Monica the other day for the first time in awhile. Her son Roshan was born exactly 6 months before Saya, and she's now pregnant with baby #2...and due exactly two years after Roshan! Hearing about how she's managing it all gave me a bit more confidence in the possibility of having baby #2.

I want more of this:

Um...have you been reading my blog?? j/k That's wonderful!

You C R A Z Y.

OK, Kris is awesome; Saya is a heartbreaker.

But you C R A Z Y.

One and done, man.

Well, it's already clear that you guys produce cute kids. Why stop at 1 or 2? Why not go for the record?
